Fruit

We ask that all children bring in a fresh piece of fruit to share amongst the other children at snack time. In addition to the normal fruits we would like to see carrots, cucumber and raisins. No bananas and kiwi's.

Holidays

You are required to complete a holiday form when your child will be away from Pre School and hand them to the Supervisor. This is to comply with safety requirements. Click here for holiday form

Labelling

Please ensure flannels, coats and all shoes are clearly labelled. This does avoid arguments among the children and makes it easier for staff to identify lost property.

Parent/Carer Information Folder

For your information there is now a "Parent/Carer's Folder" placed in the committee room. This provides general information about the Pre-school which you may find useful. Please take a few minutes to have a look through. Of course, if you have any further questions please speak with a staff member or a committee member who will be happy to help.

Parking

It is vital that when parking you do not block the main driveway as this has to remain accessible for emergency vehicles to the home behind the hall. Also please do not park in front of the main entrance for the same reason.

Sickness

If your child is ill please telephone the Pre-school as soon as you can on 01268 780050 after 8.45. Please remember if your child has suffered with diarrhoea & vomiting they must be clear for 48 hours before returning to Pre-school. We have experienced a close down in the past as children were sent back too soon and passed the bugs onto other children and the staff.

The Area Health Office would like to remind all parents that they must be notified when a child contracts an infectious disease. Please inform a member of the Pre School staff should your child have any of the undermentioned diseases, the isolation periods of which we particularly stress:-
