Our Lady of Ransom Pre-school is an established child care facility in the Rayleigh area and has been in operation for over 25 years.

Our aim is to provide the children in our care with a safe and happy environment which encourages and stimulates their learning through play.

Our Pre-school is a registered charity affiliated with The Pre-school Learning Alliance. The Pre-school is managed by an elected committee of current parents in accordance with the alliances constitution. We invite all our parents to be involved and we value your ideas and help in whatever way you can give it.

Your child’s safety, enjoyment and general well being, is most important to us. They will be encouraged to develop their intellectual, physical and emotional skills through play. Your child’s, imaginative and creative skills, will be met with plenty of encouragement and praise.

Your child will enjoy stories, singing, music & movement, pretend play, and creative activities as well as gaining confidence in developing social skills with their peers and other adults.

Our Lady of Ransom Pre-school is a Roman Catholic group. We give priority to, and endeavour to accomodate, all Catholic applicants. Spaces are then filled from all sections of the community. Your child can start pre-school at the age of 2 years 6 months, provided they have been on our waiting list for 4 months. Full details of our Admissions Policy can be found in our prospectus.
